Assuming they are the same quailty/age would it be cheaper to have a conversion professionally built or buy one that is already converted?

Many thanks in advance

From what I have seen a used conversion should be cheaper.
You should be able to find one a year or two old that should be cheaper than getting one built and you get to see the finished product before you buy. Also no build delays!

Personally I would only get a conversion built if I wanted something very specific or wanted to supply the chasis.

I decided to by a chasis for my first box and do it myself, but it took me 3 years! If i were you, i would buy one ready done, from one of the conversion companies, but beware. You get what you pay for.

Ditto this unless you want to do some of the work yourself and get things done like the ramp ...otherwise buy something done or nealy done ... warning... there are some realy dodgy folk building
and coverting lorrys , shoddy work , broken promises on time scales, overweight, charging more than quoted!!!! I would build another again, but wish I knew then what I know now!!!!
