Hi there
I have a two year old by him and i put the mare back in foal to him last year so she is due in mid june. The mare i brought to him is an arab x connemara 14.2 pony. The 2 year old is a really lovely strong filly an unbelieveable temperament and good conformation and thats why i went back to him. Hoping that they will be jumpers as the mare was a grade b show jumper. I will try to upload a few pics from last year when she was a yearling I havent taken many recently! What sort of mare are you thinking of bringing to him? I found the stud very helpful also and I saw the stallion when I went up there he is lovely in the flesh.
and last but not least one of her with her dam the day she was born!
Well I definitely can't fault the temperament she is one of the friendliest youngsters i've ever known and is so laid back about everything, leading, loading, farrier etc. Conformation is also very good but her dam has good conformation also. From what I was told it was that he didn't fit in with the typical traditional connemara as he is more athletic looking but as I wasn't breeding a pure connemara this didnt bother me.
TFB is our first choice but, as he is now back in Ireland, I don't know if his semen is available in the U.K. Would love to see photos of your foal by him.
Not sure, you could contact Dan. Our foal is due end June. Friend has one due by TFB 2 weeks ago & still waiting. When we get our baby I'll put pics up as long as all goes well.
