hi
I in the process of finishing off my new menage, next to where the menage is there is a field which I have had leveled by the builders and it is going to become a jumping field. The field is at a lower level then the menage as we have had to have it built up, it has prob been built up around 1.5 - 2m. I have had some slip rails put at the bottom of the menage which will lead to a slope down to the field, then there will be a path that will run at the higher menage level round to a long bank in the jumping field. The path runs alongside the menage fence and then goes right onto the bank.
The buliders have said they can build me a number of different options coming down it. So far I have thought of having a very gentle slope for the babies, a steep one for the older horses, and I have thought of having some steps.
I was wondering if anyone else had any other ideas about what I could have built as options coming down the bank.
I hope my description of the jumping field makes some kind of sense!!
