Building a neck up???

Not sure whether anyone has seen the recent pics of my shetty in the PG but he has lost alot of weight since i bought him, but most of it has come off his neck. Im glad in a way because it was solid and cresty before but now he looks a little odd!!!

I would like to build the muscle back into his neck but am unsure how to do this. He cant be ridden and no fancy gadgets will fit him. I dont have him bitted but i have lunging gear that does fit him.

Any ideas where i can start to build his muscle up???

can you long rein from a cavesson?? clip the two lines to the two rings on either side of the middle ring??

you can long rein using a richard maxwell halter, he does.

You can long rein on the Dually Headcoller that Monty Roberts designed. I do that because I prefer to to all ground work like long reining and lunging bitless. You can also ride in the Dually Headcoller, Bitless

Dont think id get one of those small enough so would i be ok long reining off a cavason ( sp?)

i havnt strapped for years but have a young horse would benefit from this, memory needs a bump start, ne one remind me how to do this

I've long reined from a cavesson and it worked for me.
