Sorry this is probably going to sound really stupid, but I'm after some advice. When i got Josie's new saddle fitted, the lady drew me a template of her back and she is more muscled on her right side. So obviously would be a good idea to do exercises to muscle up on left side too. However, am getting conflicting advice on how to do it. Some say to build left side up ride and lunge more on left rein so left side is inside, and bend her more, others the complete opposite!

Could anyone clarify for me the best exercises to do and oin which reing to build up her left side too? Thankies xx

This is a tried and tested theory by me on all my clients horse.
Firstly, I take it its the trapezius if saddler notice? (Wither muscle)?
If so, work her 2:1 on left to right so left is on inside.

Also, leg yielding out on a circle.

And raised poles, again 2:1 on L:R.

Hope that helps

Have just posted about a similar problem before i seen yours! Does your saddle slip? i do more work on the poorer muscled side and make her stretch alot, such as when she is on the yard, i get her to bend her neck right round on the poor side for a carrot.
