Hi,

My boy had a nasty hock wound last year which has luckily now healed albeit with a nasty looking scar. However had the back lady out on Friday and she said he is no longer straight behind becasue he has been used to the taking his leg out to the side slightly to evade the pain while it was healing. He is also compensating for this through his right shoulder (he damaged his left hock) which would exaplin why I'm finding the right rein so much worse than the left. She said I needed to work on straightening him up before the right rein would improve.

Anyway to cut to the chase she suggested lots of hill work, pole work and some laterial work. The hills I'm fine with (luckily we live in a hilly area) but can anyone suggest some exercises I could use with poles?
