She is weak behind and her neck is pretty pathetic too. My question is how can I get some muscle on her?
She is only just coming up to 4 and being lunged most days, has had me sit on her a few times so she is coming on.
Any tips??

No idea, but hiiii

She's still very young so I'd get her out hacking and include lots of hill work - walking up hills is most effective.

Personally, I wouldn't be lunging her every day as it puts too much strain on the joints.

Depends on how long you have been lunging as it wil take months to develop as the horses fitness improves also how the horse is working (using themselves correctly...good movement/confirmation etc) on the lunge will also determine where the muscles will develop and long long it will take, which is why some horses need a helping hand with a pessoa or similar trainging gadget etc

Lots of walking out in hand (and trotting is important ...although you need to fit the jogging part lol) is very good, your working on the straight, so you have a good start on building up even muscles tone, plus if you do plenty of trot work its a good way of building up the leg muscles and getting that rear wheel drive into motion as soon as you ask for it, which will benefit when you lunge your horse and once the horse is backed and going under saddle.

we use the equiami lungeing aid as it gets them working through their back and builds their topline but it is very gentle and doesn't force them. They change really quickly and start to carry themselves and balance better. we got our from your horse live but they have a website and we use ours on all sorts, young, old and rehabs.

long rein out and about so you can go in straight lines (better on joints), have a 'live' contact (better than gadget) and brilliant for youngsters for introducing them to hacking without weight on the back.
