Does anyone know if there are any insurance companies that offer an insurance that covers more than one horse.

I have just taken on my own yard and currently have 6 horses of my own, but I intend to do some breeding and breaking/schooling so will be adding to this.

Just not sure if every horse will have to be insured seperately.

I have 'googled' it, but not much coming up.

Any thoughts?

BHS insures you on every horse and every person on yours personally and public liability for all owned by you (as far as I've always understood), so I should imagine it's do-able.

That may be the cheapest way for you to sort personal ones and then look at another insurance agreement for the business side?

Sorry I can't help with companies

You can insure a 'schedule' of horses - you have one policy with one renewal date and you can add and delete animals (subject to insurers' approval) as you go through the year, with amendments to premiums each time.

Do you know which companies offer this? It's exactly what I'm looking for.:D

I have a livestock type policy for my horses wit NFU combined farm business insurance, which means that I have a number of horses insured for the usual stock things like ''theft, straying, accidental electrocution (yes, really :D), public liability'' etc at a bulk value. I am not sure you can insure only horses like that, but I had no problem with adding them onto the farm policy at all.

I have BHS gold for 3rd party and public liability and everything else by Scottish equestrian for 6 horses..

I think most of the bigger companies would e.g. KBIS - just explain to them what you're after, they're really helpful :0)
