Hiya, my horse who is usually a little pig had gone off her hay. The hay does vary as its off the YO fields & usually after a day she give in & eat it

She has eaten much over night the past few days & as its been cold has dropped a silly amount if weight.

Any idea on how to substitute the hay ( il still give her the hay as it needs to be gone) but I was thinking of mixing haylage or ready grass by the bucket? Does this have to be fed wet?
She gets a balancer & chaff twice a day.
Roll on spring when she turns into a fatty!
Strawberries on offer

If the hay is such poor quality that a normally greedy horse won't eat it then I wouldn't feed it. If its in with the livery I would complain to the YO and deduct the cost of hay from my bill and purchase elsewhere.
