Im struggling to find a jacket online to cover ones bum

When I was younger there were some harry hall lightweight waterproof ones which had like an elasticated waist then a bit with vents, but now they all seem to stop at the waist which is flattering to me at all. I realise they are probably better for riding. But anyway

can you reccommend

Your post made me smile as its what i look for in a coat!! Ive got 2 that are good ones for a light weight one ive got a horseware Corrib it covers my bum and through the winter I have been wearing a Just Togs Cruz coat for the money i cant reccomend this coat highly enough!! Its warm, waterproof and nice decent length ive got 2 a real old tatty one I wear all the time and a newer one i wear to turn out in the morning then go to work in it! I did spy another new one the other day in Navy blue and was sooo tempted lol!!

I look for that in a jacket as well! I got a brilliant one from horseware a few years ago that is still going strong.

What sort of jacket are you looking for? Is it one for hacking-out in, or around the yard, or a bit of both.

I have a lovely warm fleece from a company here in the Westcountry. They do it in flourescent colours, pink or yellow, and it leaves room at the front for you to be able to canter without anything bunching up and getting in the way (a common problem); plus it leaves a LOVELY bit over your back which keeps your bum mega warm. They're a small business and I've got dog jackets and other things from them; they've also got a lovely quarter sheet made of fleece which keeps His Highness's bum nice and warm too! They're called www.equafleece.co.uk. The jacket I'm talking about is called the "Endurance" jacket, which is what it was designed for.

Well worth a visit, and they're really nice people too.
