Are hay is currently coming in as we speak. Got 520 bales off the field (about 5 acres at a guess) which will happily last our lot at home for the year. My mum was expecting about 400 bales but the extra time waiting till this dry spell has meant its a lot thicker than ususal! Even better its still good quality as well

My mum is happy as won't have to buy any and might even sell 50 or so at the end of winter.

Oh and anyone else in Jersey the farmer we use to bale ours just cut and baled stupid amounts elsewhere on the island so there shouldn't be any shortages

We're happy, 22 huge round bales off our field for 2/3 horses next year! And we can now gallop up that field...even better!
