Not all the time, just jumping!! We had a lesson today, it was ok, but he seems to be hell bent on bunny hopping stuff, or take of a whole STRIDE before the jump, and thankfully he has a really comfy jump.
But mainly the bunny hopping is bugging me. We try ground poles but he just either does the mad stride before take off, or adds in a tiny stride and bunny hops it. Today we managed to bunny hop 3ft 3/6 by accident
, even though we came into it perfectly (says instructor). It is making me nervous to go higher, although instructor reckons that if he can bunny hop 3ft3/6 then he should be able to clear 4ft from a good approach (aint no way I have the guts for that as only been jumping him over 2ft the past 3 months!!)
Anyone got any advice? I know he can jump normally, and I do know that apparently I do slightly influence the bunny hop by doing something with my seat - no idea what!
