Burghley- any decent offers on in the trade stands?!

just came back, some of the regulars have vanished and most don't have the same deals as before

still had fun though

We just got back and no real bargains to be had a little bit off some of the long boots but only in odd sizes. MH had some offers but not a lot at all really .

Same as last year then, MH had good offers bit were in either very big or very small sizes

There haven't been any bargains at Burghley for years - they don't need bargains with the number of people there buying stuff!

Leave loads of time to travel the A1 is shut in both directions by Burghley until at least lucnhtime due to a palne crash

I think more to the point the cost of a trade stand at Burghley is so high that nobody can afford to give bargains! Most horse related companies are made to go in one of the big marquees and the costs are eye watering. Take into account accomodation, travel and food etc and its very hard to make much money there at all.

Burghley, apparantly, want all equestrian stuff in the marquees so if any of the stall holders who have their own outside space don't take up their stand for some reason they will be replaced with non-horse related trade stands. Burghley, I understand, say their visitors don't want lots of equine shops
