Agree with this, but conversely, will be interesting to see how they do xc... After all, Ruth, voluntarily offered the horse to Andrew after Badminton, feeling he would suit him better. Don't quite understand all the anti AN sentiment here - as far as I'm concerned he's a class jockey who has brought numerous young horses through the grades, and kept not-very-sound old campaigners on the road for many years. I know he's not very chatty

and can be abrasive, but it's usually when he perceives (rightly or wrongly) someone is being lazy or covering their backsides, neither of which he could be accused of

I love his stickability on the x-country and feel he usually rides so well, I just didnt like the way he treated his lovely horse after he completly messed up at the olympics!!! That was his fault and he diodnt even seem to check the horse was ok!
