I am most interested in Clea Phillips and Lead the Way he is an awesome horse and I will be rooting that he goes well. He for me has British team potential written all over him if he goes well at 4*.

For me it seems a depleted field of foreign riders. I am guessing Pau might be having an effect?

OMG little pony Patris Fillius doing Burghley!!
It only seems like yesterday that horses like Ardfield magic star and Cornsay Grouse were doing novice. How time flies! ( and how sickening for the rest of us still lingering at PN level, Lol!)

Are they going to be broadcasting it this year on the Beeb?

I can't get over, and I hate missing it...........

It's scary isn't it? I remember watching Opposition Buzz in a novice and he was amazing.......I'd love him to do well, I think he is a stunning horse, and what a jump......

You can watch a webcast I think it cost me £6 last year for 4 days of action. It was brilliant coverage and I will certainly do it again. If you look on British eventing it has details.

ohh yes I'd forgotten that think its 7.90 pounds this year did see the advert on BE WWW.
so would you say it worth the money then ? Do you get to see all the riders ?

Yes it was good - better than TV which is edited. Its good to be able to watch the dressage and get commentary. The XC shows everyone and has a good selection of fences.

If you saw Kentucky its like that.

No I didn't see Kentucky but it sounds really good !

Think i'll give it a go!!!!

I've got to get my sound sort first but think i know a man that I could talk sweetly to, that could fix it.

so 7.90 and a bit of moondrop charm and I should be watching it then !

European Champs will def be having an effect. Is Pau around the same time?

Thanks moon_drop and lec, it's taken me 'til now to be able to load the page again........bliddy rural France.......

Hope if i get the webcast it works better than the H&H forum!

Ditto, and I really hope he makes it too, he is my horses half brother so really rooting for him he has quite some record.

I can't wait. I've never been to Burghley before and DH has bought VIP tickets

Oh didn't realise that "Team Fredericks" wouldn't be there. What a shame. We're going to the dressage on Thursday, going to give x country day a miss this year and maybe subscribe instead to watch it.

Sarah_Jane is right, Team Fredericks will be there but only Clayton will be competing on The Frog or Nullarbor as Limbo's sold. They weren't on the original list as someone put the wrong postage on the envelope..
