Hi,

Planning to do the above at the end of the month.

They have a 2'6-2'9 class and a 3ft class.
Does any one know what the courses are like - I would happily do a 90cm BE intro type course ie no jumps etc into water but know that unaff can vary in the standard and technicality of the fances so any info would help!!

I am also doing the Brocklesby PC ODE at the weekend and have heard a few negative comments about the new course which they have advertised as done by a BE designer. Does anyone know what the course will be like?

Thanks

I'm going to that! sorry a bit useless as i havent been befor

I don't know anything about it but I did the area horse trials at burghley last year and the course was really nice! Don't know if it's the same place or anything though so a bit rubbish really!

I'm doing the brocklesby ODE as well

Just had a look on the website, it is at the same place and I can tell you the course at the horse trials was nice! There wasn't a jump into water from what I can remember and there was only a 1 jump that I can remember causing lots of problems. That was in the level 4 (equivalent to pre novice BE). Hope that helps a bit more!

I did the 3ft course last year - it was up to height and required a bit of thought. They had 3 "L" fences to cover the really hard bits.

I'm doing both .No idea what's going on at brock but they've said its shorter so hopefully it will be!

Burghley is a lovely course, very confidence giving. They havent put the water in it for the past 2 years hunter trials

See you there
