Hellooo. not off any where this weekend as off to brighton on sunday, so looking forward to the drive down in the rain, you off anywhere?, we should do it together we won't be flying round, as i know what my cob can be like when he's excited and i want my mum to stay on board if poss!!!, also not sure what big lad is gunna be like but it's all part of the fun!!!. will email you when i'm back about doing somthing!.
xx
I took my boy and will be taking him again this year. It was fantasic - a little short (about 7 miles) but we rode it rather fast and got round very quickly!!
You are only allowed to walk on the xc course but that was good for me as a) my 14.2 was the same size as the jumps and b) despite loving xc when he was younger he was scared of most of them and wouldn't go near them!
We did however have a good canter up champions avenue in a big group with another couple of riders we had got chatted to
There was a mixture of everything, tracks to have a canter, open fields and a fair bit through some woods. It was very busy though so not one for a horse who is not great on pleasure rides or being overtaken etc.
