Thanks Teapot I know we can rely on you to do the investigations. As I’ve been watching the dressage from France for 4 days, I nearly posted and asked if that was our time😄🤣. Just as well I got my brain in gear before I made myself look like an idiot

Feeling v sad we’re not going. My mum isn’t well enough to leave and the low entries made the decision for us, but I’m still sad. Especially with decades of Facebook memories of Burghley popping up. Burghley tv it is.

(not least because I need something to get me to the end of the week!)

Timetable here - https://burghley-horse.co.uk/trials/provisional-programme-2

Dressage Thurs 10-4 and Fri 10-4; Sat - XC starts at 11am; Sun morning sj is 10.30; afternoon sj starts 2.30pm

Drawn order here - https://burghley-horse.co.uk/competition/cci5 (with a few withdrawls)

Live scores will be here - https://live.rechenstelle.de/2025/burghley/leaderboard01.html
What I do is watch on Burghley TV cable to my television and have Rechenstelle on my phone…will do rehearsals from today until tomorrow morning…get all glitches sorted.

BurghleyTV
???

Yes, along with many other HHOers I’ll be on the sofa watching Burghley on Burghley tv. Along with keeping an eye on tv coverage of the Tour of Britain 🙃.

The Burghley tv coverage is pretty decent, well worth the £25. Last went in person in 2019 with a membership. No desire to return to battle the crowds.

I’ve just watched the c/c preview in preparation for my 4 days of sitting watching the whole thing. The C/C looks challenging to me , I never jumped above 90 so it all looks huge

Think I’ve been every year for 30 odd years now, barring the odd year when I’ve been living abroad (it’s more years than that but that would be admitting to my age!!). Been a steward for about the last 15 years.

Do you enjoy stewarding? Where do you end up being?
