I have noticed quite a few people saying that they are going, so wondered if people wanted to meet up? I am going on XC day but will be houndless, much to my dismay, as they are going into kennels for the weekend :(

Doesnt have to be anything major of course, just a quick hello, maybe a drink and a chat? Then we can all happily get on with shopping and ogling lovely event riders (or is it just me that does that? :p)

Anyone up for this? :)

Me but also doggiless though OH agreed to having her, spoken to trainer to arrange 1-2-1 lessons but don't get her until 12th September. :(
But baby and my mother to contend with so unlikely I will be able to meet up.
Sorry :(

But yay Burghley :D

Yup - with the hooligans in tow (or being towed) :D

We should definately arrange to meet, preferably not too near to burger / hogroast stalls for the sake of my arms

Aw no that's a shame, if it's transport related I can come get you and the naked man? :)

I went and booked a haircut on the Saturday and I am in desperate need so don't want to cancel - also I am trying to save all my pennies up at the moment:) Thank you for the offer though!

You're foregoing Burghley for the sake of a haircut? Are you mad woman, just let Henry return the favour! Everyone's a winner lol :D

Me! Me! I'll be at Burghley on xc day - with Purdey in tow. She is quite good at shows now and getting quite used to being dragged round tradestands having been to the game fair and Gatcombe as well as a couple of local agricultural shows.

I'd love to meet up with everyone somewhere at Burghley!

I will have my car in the members car park (by Burghley House) so if people wanted we could meet there - dogs can have water etc - if people wanted to picnic at lunchtime and have a sit doen rather than trying to find a seat/fight with dogs etc near the trade stands. That way you will be refreshed and ready for round 2!!;):D:D

Ooh that sounds more like it, thankyou! Will have to navigate my way from the peasants carpark :D

That sounds a great idea SU :) We must remember LESS food than the BBQ though :D

Not sure whether I am going on my own or with someone at the moment - if I'm on my own I might bring the dogs, if people are really ready for the great greyhound onslaught :D:D:D

Oooooh I'm really excited about Burghley now! I can't wait to meet you all:D
Slinky - can I pm you my mobile number so you can help direct me to your car from the peasants car-park:D;)
Cheers,
