Tell me all about them, what do they involve. There are quite a few round us and wondered if it would be a good grounding for baby Alfie? Is it just dressage and show jumping, what would the rider need to wear and the horse? Would a show jumper stand out like a sore thumb? Any information would be very gratefully received?

Brief Dressage test and a course of fences judged on style, then an assessment of conformation. Some are quite lively, others are quieter! I was going to aim for some with G horse. but they are all quite "big" and the finals are seriously brain blowing stuff!!

I think it is 90cm or 95cm and 1m in final for 4 year olds, then 1m or 105cm and 110cm in the final for 5 year olds.

I think there is a quiet one near us. Alfie has jumped 2 x 1m classes in France so hoping it wouldn't be to much. Just got to work on his flatwork!

I think Alfie would like being friends with Millie at these things so you have to bring him!!! Mils is so little they'll either love her (they did say small ones are fashionable now) or hate her!!!
