Shall we start getting excited yet? Thats a world class field if ever i saw one. Personally i think it will be amazing and marvelous if Hoy Boy winds the Grand Slam but he certainly will have to work for his money! Am quite looking forward to seeing the little wife on the coloured bog pony also, and will whittington be inside the time here as well as Blenheim.

Coolured bog pony? He will be offended!! Be interesting to see what sort of a test they produce though.
I'm backing Andrew, and if not him then James....just to stick 2 fingers up at the selectors!!

Dont worry Boss, me and the bog pony go way back. He knows he is a particular favourite and if he wasnt, most like the owner and I wouldnt be such good friends! And i quite agree about James too.

I'm getting excited too, as it will be my first visit to Burghley in 21yrs, so I don't remember much about it from before.

I shall be willing Mr. Hoy to win.

Plus, Blenheim was slightly disappointing this year with fewer international riders, fewer spectators, no Radio Blenheim FM. The celebrity pairs competition didn't go through the main water complex and I missed the Heythrop hounds parade.

Yes!! Can't wait to go on Sat and Sun with my OH and his sister and her friend. Will be backing Andrew, and hope The Wexford Lady will run. Also hope Cashel Bay will do well.

Does anyone know if the XC on Saturday is on BBC Interactive or only on the web site? It looks like the SJ on Sunday is on BBC. Just want to know if need to register on web to see XC.
Thanks
