Burly Bed users

For those of you that use Burly Bed (regular not the red bags), how often do you take out the wet?? I've got a bed of it, it's pretty deep (a good 8" deep, I try not to disturb the base other than once a week to fully sweep up) and I did start leaving the wet in and just skipping out the poops. But after a few days my pony was walking the wet through in her wee spots...so I am now taking the wet spots out daily.

Not sure if I am meant to make it even deeper and leave it, or take out daily. It doesn't say on the bags?

What do you all do? I really like it and my pony seems happy and lays down every night on it. Thanks

I take the wet out when it starts to show at the surface. I have rubber mats and about 4-5" of bedding.

Yeah that's what I did do but I wasn't sure if maybe I had too little bed as it seemed to come to the surface pretty quick!

I only use 1 bag of pellets a week to top it up
