Hi All,

Posting this on behalf of my Mum, who would like to pay for some lessons for a godchild. As I am 400 miles south, I can't help her out here by going for a look round, and as Mum is not very mobile, she can't easily pop round herself.

Quality of instruction and suitability of ponies for a 5 year old beginner?

Shortbread available for all who can assist with this one.

No experiences of Busby but I can recommend Biccarton or Houston Farm between Glasgow and Edinburgh if that helps?

Houston Farm is a bit far to travel if they're local to Busby!

A friend's young son went for some lessons there and she seemed pretty happy with his tuition. They have reasonable facilities from what I've seen, a decent sized outdoor and smaller indoor, and a well stocked little shop. Think hacking might be limited as they're at the back of quite a built up area, but I'm not particularly familiar with Busby
