hi there
A friend of mine is considering renting our agricultural land for horse grazing. The prospective tenant is a horse breeder. It's about 10 acres. If the tenant brings in horses from the field each day into a covered building for grooming, feed and watering etc and hacks out from the building onto a main road, does the landlord need to seek change of use to Equestrian? What happens if the prospective tenant rides on the land and places jumps?
How much would the rates be for business use on 10 acres of land classed as Equestrian business and would the council seek this even though the land is still listed as agricultural?
Cheers
