no bute is good,worked well for millie when she had her back problems when we got her, before we reailised what it was, alway better to get to the bottom of the problem though. Hope its nothing to serious

You wont get the same effect as bute with any of the herbal alternatives, just a watered down sort of result. The herbal things generally take much longer to come into effect too.
If your horse needs the effect that bute gives then I would stick with it.

I used to use NoBute to great success and now use Buteless (can't consistantly get hold of the other) and he's less comfortable than he was but I think that is his condition worsening.
