BUTE in bloodstream

Bloodtest not needed. My horse moved yards on Friday, filled hind leg and lame on Saturday, yard he was on insisted he was 'sound' on Friday.

Just spoken to vet, he has bad mud fever with lymphatic problems. Vet said he could well have trotted sound on Friday and been lame the next day.

He has been treated.

It's seven days out of the system for three days the bute in the system may still mask lameness .
Seven is the FEI recommendation we always left ten just in case .
