it is a prescription drug therefore you could probably get it a bit cheaper via an internet pharmacy but you would need your vets to sign a prescription.

hi, I work at a vets. They are POM (prescription only med) so should only be given out by a vet having seen the horse. Once had some u can usually phone up and get more prescribed for same condition without another visit. But u cant just buy them over the counter.

I saw them slightly cheaper over the internet, forgotten the nsame though! I found it through google. The danilon was about £3 cheaper for a box of 60, so after postage its probably not much. I just get it frmo the vet, much less hassle!

Just to clarify the situation, they are prescription only medicines so you need a prescription from the vet, BUT you do not need to buy them from the vet. You can send your prescription to one of the online pharmacies and buy them there - but they will not (or should not) sell to you without a prescription from your vet.
