My field is being taken over by buttercups! Has anyone any suggestions on how to get rid of them as they are taking over and now hardly any grass
will sheep eat them?

They seem to be taking over this year, I don't remember seeing so many.![]()
My neighbours had their field liming and sprayed for buttercups amongst other things a couple of years ago and their fields are pretty free from buttercups. I've got my horses on their fields as I've just had mine sprayed with Depitox and Headland Transfer which has killed off all the in flower buttercups and those just starting. I'm keeping my horses off my fields for 4-6 weeks but already after 2weeks the buttercups are dying off nicely.
