Butternut box or Years?

Has anyone tried either of these? I’m looking for an alternative to raw for my kibble intolerant dog. I’ve tried her on Forthglade wet food and she did ok on it but not brilliantly. She had been doing really well on raw but over the last few weeks she’s been sick in the night / first thing in the morning a few times. I’ve split her food to 3 meals a day with one just before bed but I’m wondering now if I need to think about changing her food.
 
Our previous dog was on butternut box for years and I do rate it. I'd like our current dog to eat it but she's a little picky and i don't like to leave it out especially as we have under floor heating so she's on dry.
 
I have tried both but I LOVE Years.

If I could afford it, my dogs would be on it all the time.

It literally smells like human food. You will be tempted to grab a spoon 😅

Food lasts less than a nanosecond here once she’s been told she can have it 😂

Thanks. Looking at the websites I’m leaning towards Years. The cost is a little eye watering so I would possibly look into feeding it alongside something else. I want to talk to a vet about her recent digestive issues but I have Covid at the moment so it will have to wait until I’m clear. Just looking into potential options.
 
I haven't heard of Years but moved to Butternut Box 9 moths ago when all three of my terriers stopped eating Arden Grange kibble and Butcher's grain free wet food despite having been on it for a long time. Butternut Box is certainly massively more expensive and I had to buy a small freezer to store it in but the deliveries have been very efficient and it's well packed. In general the boys love it, our old boy who is 13 squeals in delight every dinner time and dances circles till his bowl is put down, middle dog age 7 generally eats it with gusto but strangely has not been so keen the last couple of nights, no idea why, I suspect he'll be back to normal soon, the big upside for him is the complete lack of flatulence since being on it. The youngest dog, aged 2 is a really picky eater, he generally eats it but takes his time often leaving it till later in the evening and then finishing it happily, this is regardless of which variety is served. We haven't had any upset tummies since starting on it.
 
Thanks. I hadn’t heard of Years until I saw a neighbour getting deliveries for her dog and googled it. I already have a small chest freezer in the garage for her raw food so at least that won’t be an issue! I will need to re-order her raw food soon so may order a trial of one of these to see how she does having some of it alongside her raw.
 
I tried butternut box with my old lab. I wasn't impressed. We kept her slim for her arthritis but she was doing 5 or 6 poos a day on butternut. On skinners she did 2 or 3 at the most. Plus Butternut were unreliable delivery wise and there was loads of packaging.
 
My two are on Butternut Box and they love it. The deliveries are regular and well packaged. They accommodate a pancreatitis dog.

When my husband died, the account had been in his name. I couldn't seem to change the details to my own, so I had to cancel. There was not an appropriate 'reason to cancel' and I didn't want any follow up emails, so I told them that Hector had died, figuring this would stop any correspondence.

The next day, a card and bouquet of flowers, commiserating us on the death of Hector. It was a sweet touch, if misplaced on this occasion!

Yes I agree, I think that's why my dog pooed so much on it. A lot of cheaper fillers so she needed to eat a lot to maintain her weight. And she was a labrador, typical of her breed, ate anything and a very good doer! It didn't upset her stomach though just a lot of poos.
 
Thanks everyone. I’ve signed up for a trial pack of Years as they do a shorter trial then butternut box so is cheaper. It may well not suit my dog but for £10 it’s worth trying.
 
I used to use pheniox bark but depends where you’re based as they’re an Irish company but do uk as well
 
I would NEVER use butternut box because of their aggresive marketing strategy, I enquired about it once and said I'd like to have a think and I was bombarded with calls pushing me to sign up to a subscription, I blocked one number only to be called on a different one, blocked that and called again on yet another number, no thanks.
 
My lab was on butternut box and she loved it. She had half a pouch for each meal, so one pouch a day. It was quite pricy.
We only took her off it as we now feed raw
 
I made the costly mistake of adding Butternut box to my retriever's food when visiting my Mum last year as I forgot his meat and she had some spare. My dog went nuts for it so we're now on our second (discounted) box and so far, I can't fault their service or product quality, plus the spoilt pup absolutely loves it.
