So i thought I had sold my Cob x as had taken a deposit for him, so placed that deposit on another horse- and organised for it to arrive the day he was due to go. The buyer has just decided her grazing wont hold 4 horses...... (did this not occur to her earlier?!) anyway, I am about to move to worcester and cant afford to livery three horses!!

What do I do ? Pull out and loose out on the horse I put the deposit on, or try and sell ponio for even cheaper than I wanted? I had him up for £500 but accepted £400, I've had a deposit of £100 so could technically let him go for £300-- but would he sell in time?

Arggggg! This is such an annoying situation. What would you do? Do any worcs peeps know of a field to rent?
Any ideas or advice?

If you can't afford to keep all of them it sounds like you'll have pull out of buying the third one. I've definitely learned the hard way that a horse isn't sold until the money is in the bank and the horse has actually gone! I don't blame you for being cross though, it's very annoying.

Sounds like you'll have to put off the buying of the new horse! There is possible space of another at my yard but it would just be a field and I'm in Cheltenham so a bit far away.. Other thing to suggest is advertise him everywhere including all online websites and tack/feed shops. How old is your pony??

because I can afford to put two in livery... just not three- I currently own a house with land.. but will be moving to the city- where land with a house is uber expensive- and at £30 per week for DIY- three horses is one too many.

yeah sadly you are just too far away :( thanks for the kind offer though. Hes rising 3 so an awkward age to sell

Now Im going to have to be the time-wasting buyer!! :( gutted as the new horse was the perfect share for me and the OH.

You live you learn.
