Just wanted know what others thought. I've found the perfect horse but he's got a slight rotation in his hind NS . He was born with it and has never caused a problem for him..,
Would you still buy? He's so perfect apart from this :(

Depends what you want him for?

I bought my girl knowing she plaited outwards behind, and was ever so slightly toe in on her near fore. Other than that she is pretty good conformation wise.

Her action does not affect her - she is sound and the plaiting does not interfere in any way.

I have only taken her to one local show so far, and she did pretty well result wise, though I am under no illusion that perhaps her action let her down slightly. That being said, I was very conscious of the conformation of the others in the classes, and not one of them had 'perfect' conformation in the true sense of the word.

Have you had the horse vetted ?.
i would think if you were concerned speaking to a good equine vet would be the best move. How old is the horse ?
we bought a NF as a 3 year old that isnt good confo wise, his back is about 6 inches too long and he has quite straight hocks which make him look a bit stiff but he isnt. We didnt buy him as a show pony but as a best friend for my son and he has surpassed all of our expectations and is currently jumping up to 4 foot (he is 13hh). We do however know that we would never part with him and that at some stage his confo could compromise his ability. When and if he shows any signs of discomfort from competeing then he will stop and live out his days with us.
