buying a horse..

My friend is looking for a horse to buy,
i was just wondering if anyone could help out as to
where to look or if anyone has a horse they are selling.

Between 14.3hh and 15.2hh
between 6 and 10 years old, nice temperment in essex
and no more than £1200

You are going to need to spend at least £2,500.
What i tend to do whemn looking for a new horse is to put up WANTED adverts in the local tack shops/feed merchants. This means that the horse are local and people know it's true history and temprement.
Always have a horse vetted and try it out on the roads by itself to check it is bombproof/spookproof.

You might find a TB for that but i'd be very surprised... Don't mean to be synical but if you pay peanuts you usually get monkeys, make sure if you do find one that you check it out properly...
