Got my eye on one, its an 03 reg with 104k miles on the clock. Is there anything I would need to watch out for? Or is it likely that the engine could go bang at any point!
engine management light kicks in on a regular basis when under pressure of work.
oil leaks
4x4 housing occasional fluid loss
difficulty in engaging 4x4 tork
gutless
I tow with a 3l V6 and it is fantastic and certainly not gutless. Easily tows trailer and 2 horses totalling around 2500kg. Have been using it for 3 years now and love having the ute back as its so much more useful for chucking wet and smelly gear in. Have had no problems with it in 3 years.
Back springs fail, gear box trouble, engines blow, they drink diesel, turning circle like a supertanker , lack power , bouncy apart from that... there great

Funny you should say about engine going bang.... the two people i know with warriers, one is having a new engine (55 plate), and the other (53 plate) is having to have the engine reconditioned
I tow with an L200 & love it; although it's an 08 plate so maybe the newer ones are better.
A friend has an older one which he loves but he does find the turning circle quite big, the turning circle on mine is much smalller & isn't a problem.
I was towning a friend's 17 hand horse with it which involved going up quite a big hill, she was impressed that my vehicle barely seemed to even notice the hill.
The back is also very useful for transporting large, muddy dogs!
OH is on his second L200 and knows loads of people with them and hardly any of the problems above! Completely agree with the turning circle (think barge) and the last one he had (T-reg) was very thirsty, but it turned out to be a fuel pump problem. His newer one doesn't have the fuel problem (55 reg). Towing, both have been excellent at coping with the weights, although we wouldn't win any races (but then, I go slow at towing anyhoo!).
