look at polo times website normally a few on there and go around the polo clubs theres always criollo's for sale or wait till the winter and make some polo buddies and you will get one for free :D

Polo times is the best place to look, or try the polo clubs across the country there are always some for sale somewhere!
Failing that, flight to Buenos Aires, there are loads to choose from!

hey, yes they are great breeds, very sturdy and good for most jobs, they use these on the farms mostly as the cattle herders etc- what do you want to use one for? Polo times has horses for sale try and do as much research as you can and make sure you get it 5 star vetted before you buy for sure!

I have no advice to offer about european breeders but my friend breeds them on her estancia in Uruguay and after I rode them there, Ive fallen in love with the breed. My next horse will definitely be a criollo.
good luck i findig a lovely one!

Be careful and do your research. Lovely horses, but some have had a very hard life over there and you do not always get the same horse you bought after a while.

Had a very emotional journey with one.

Now an field ornament. Say no more.

let us know how u get on, being of the polo fraternity myself i think they are an amazing breed-it might be worth researching in argentina and flying one over, for the price you pay over there+frieght they can sometimes work out cheaper than buying in europe..i only mentioned 5 stage vetting as a precaution, as the standards in south america may not necessarily be the same as here, hence get it vetted before parting with a any cash,m as fizzer says some have a hard life out there...:-)
