Hi all, I'm on a bit of a spending spree at the moment and I want to replace my clippers. My old set are the heavy duty 'farm' type clippers which did ebony fine but I know won't be suitable for ben. He won't cope with the noise. So my main requirement is a 'manly but quieter clipper and perhaps one that isn't going to make my arm ache while holding it.

I have come up with the following 3 so far although I have to say the masterclip looks a bit wimpy to me. I will only really need it probably a maximum of 4 horses, a minimum of 2

I think the Hauptner will be best value, but the high postage will put people off.
You could ask Prequestrian for their recommendations, two or three blades are handy
Extra Hauptner blades are £40
