Had to return a horse that started to rear without warning, no mention of this when I viewed him several times. Was exactly what I was after although would need some schooling.

I am looking for a confidence giving horse for hacking/fun ride all-rounder with plans to do some riding club activities (shows/jumping)

general requirements

height 14.3-15.2
age ideally 8-13 would consider 6/7 y-o
no gender/breed/colour preference
must hack alone/in company
genuine when jumping
have a preference of kick on type as opposed to too forward going

budget up to £3000 (could find more if tack included)

I've just brought a gelding from my local dealer, 15.3 tri coloured gelding, very well schooled has shown and hunted. He's a IDX with lots of bone and is an absolute all-round star for £2,500. So yes they are out their.

I wouldn't say so. I bought BH for 3K and he's a nice honest kick on chap. Never bucks or rears, will have the odd look at road signs out hacking but that's it (and my hacking is pretty monstrous so I'll let him off. He's pretty blooming amazing frankly to deal with it as well as he does!). He's 15.3 and rising 7 so not quite what you're after but close enough to make me think you'd find something. Good luck with your search :)

try CnG equine, they are a dealer but have some amazing horses available that are well within your budget. they are very honest and I would definately recommend them
