Hello all,
Quick question anyone ever brought from Rikki Gradley? and also do you think 11 years for a horse is old to still want to compete in showjumping, up to 1'10 - 1'20 BSJA.

No idea who Rikki Gradley is but 11 years for a horse is not even considered to be in it's prime, unless it's been flogged at a very young age!

Thanks, i didnt think so but wanted to see what the general view was. My little 13.2 was 30 and still bolting around the field with me!

We purchased a 11yr old 14.1 pony for my daughter to bsja, dont think its too old we went for something that age as wanted something thats been there, seen abit and to think this pony could go on for another upteen years.

You only have to check out the ages of the horses that competed at the European championships.....11 years of age is certainly not old.

Many people seem to think that 11 years & up is old because of the modern day obsession to buy 4 & 5 year olds.
