Hi! so i recently outgrew my Horseware ireland long boots and my dublin country boots are too wide for me, leaving me with no grip in the saddle and blisters on my heel from walking around the yard. So, i need help wether to go for another pair of long boots (Robinsons' has ones for 30 quid) or a pair of jodhpur boots (had a pair a few years ago and loved them!). What brands do you all have which are affordable and would you reccomend long or short boots? :D;):p:)

I've got thin legs and most long boots are too wide for me. I prefer jodhpur boots and half chaps. I don't buy any particular brand. Current half chaps are Shires I think and boots Loveson. Any jodhpur boots that are close fitting will do, you don't want roomy, bulky or loose ones when you've got to put half chaps over the top.

Years ago I found some waterproof, synthetic leather, fleece lined jodhpur boots from Robinson's which were good for winter, but no idea if they still make them. If you buy some, be aware the sizing comes up very small. Think I ended up with a 6 1/2 instead of my usual 5.
