Buying process

Another update now its been over a month:

Pony is now happy to be caught in the field, and led in hand. I've had a few lessons on him and he is both 'sharp' and lazy to ride. Took him for a hack and he spooked and did a little bolt, so have since decided to concentrate on riding in the school where I feel safer to increase my confidence/ grow the relationship and trust with him.

Take it slowly and you will get there, it’s still early days for both of you , is there someone who can hack out with you to give both of you confidence .. you sound quite novice so try not to worry and take one step at a time.. can we have some more pics pretty please🙂

Sounds like you are both getting used to each other, it's a big learning curve isn't it? Hacking with a safe riding buddy might be a good idea, or maybe someone on foot or on a bike to help give you a bit of a boost? Sometimes just having someone else there to chat to, even if they are not riding, can be a big help. I sometimes get my husband to walk out with me when I ride, especially if I'm riding after a long break.
