Buying tack in Germany

Im off to Oldenburg in Germany in a few weeks- (looking at a few horses with my STRESSAGE instructor!) Im not buying.....she is!

Im just going for the experience.
Anyone know if tack over there is any cheaper- e.g Stubben etc? AND am l allwowed to bring it back through customs without paying duty on it?

it is definitely cheaper as is any of the pikeur stuff (i get jodhs there for €40). i'm afraid i don't know bout import duty though

You can bring back as much as you want

German VAT at 16% will have been applied, as as its an EU country as long as you have paid VAT somewhere you are fine.

However if purchasing outside EU then basically you should be paying VAT at 17.5% on everything you purchase over £18 (limit may not be up to date!)

Germany is EU country so you can bring back stuff for your own use, guess if you buy bulk for re-sale this may be different I have no idea - EU prices are definately cheaper than UK though ...
