The lacs have decided upon a new tactic. They are now to monitor those who hunt from drones. ;)

"A Day at Driven Drones", I quite fancy that! ;) :D

One small point, isn't this a case for suggesting that the civil liberties of those who are partaking LEGALLY, in a legitimate and accepted sport, have the right to do so, unfettered by the intrusion of those who would invade their rights to privacy?

The lacs really are becoming desperate. I wonder who's funded it, maca I shouldn't wonder. He was an idiot in the 60s and nothing's changed.

A waste of money (oh well :) ). Use of private drones is already a bit controversial, and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't introduce some legislation in the future to combat them. Hopefully, someone will see the thing and shoot it down :D

The League must be desperate. After all, they haven't had a hunting conviction in three years. Not one.

I read a few articles about this earlier. I thought google earth etc taking pics of my land and possessions was bad enough TBH. Perfect 'toy' for criminals.
Now HH123. Don't be silly. LACS assure us that they are going to 'further enhance the charity’s already successful tactics'.

Sound hideously expensive, have they considered what will happen if someone, in one of the hundreds of supporters cars below, turns on a radio jammer...? Could be very costly. I wonder if they've really thought this through...

"An animal welfare group from Geneva, Ill., has been deploying a mini “Mikrokopter” drone to capture images of what it describes as “pigeon slaughter.” However, the group has claimed its unmanned aircraft have been repeatedly shot down by hunters—on one occasion near Ehrhardt, S.C., and on another in Berks County, Pa.—causing thousands of dollars' worth of damage."

We could have a "Down a Drone week". ;)

An interesting point, as it's been reported, is that the drones are being supplied by a not for profit charity called Shadowview. As the lacs have been selling off their assets, I'd imagine them to be loaded, so even though there's a n-f-p claim, I doubt that they'll be free.

I wonder if there will be any requirements within Law to prevent the operators from causing unacceptable risk to others, by their activities.

Alec.
