I am trying to put together a BYRDS regional training session with a British Dressage accredited trainer.
This would be a general training day for all levels of competitor and you wouldn't need to be a British Dressage member to come along. It’s a great chance to train with a top instructor and to gain information about attending BYRDS selection days and camps etc. However before I start to organize I am firstly going to put the idea around to see if there is any interest. As a venue I have in mind Vale View Equestrian as it has excellent facilities and is easy to get to.
So what do you think would there be enough interest from riders in the midlands to warrant a session?
Thank you for your time.

Hi, sounds like an excellent idea. I don't know the venue you mention, I am in Warwickshire so Solihull Riding Club, Moreton Morrell college are more my venues. I might be interested, can you let me have some more details. Oh, my horse turns 6 this year, does this mean I will miss out. Is there a cut off for when they turn 6????

Good luck with finding prospective people - there is actually a girl on my yard who is the appropriate age - I will have a chat with her.

Hey, Id probably be intereseted, VVE is slightly out my way; but Id travel if the clinic looked good enough. Id always thought of VVE as more of a SJ orientated venue if that makes sense? You might get more uptake at somewhere like beaverhall that does 1 or 2 weekly dressage events, as more people would see it advertised? Just a thought, but keep me posted, like I say, its only an hour and a half away, so Id prob travel.

hi Jemayni ,
Vale veiw do run a lot of BD events and have hosted lots of "big time " para dressage shows. The reason I chose VVE is because the lady that runs it used to be very much involved with BD and is probably willing to support and help me with organsing. (not saying that beaverhall wouldnt ! ) I am planning to advertise in magazines and local EC`s when I get futher infomation from Hannah Moody.
Thank you for your intrest.
