Just wondering if anyone has heard of or used cable pads.
I found this product whilst surfing online but looks like it is only stocked in America. (www.cablepads.com)
My horse has recently been diagnosed with low ring bone and mild navicular.
My farrier recently fitted my horse with leather pads but with all the wet weather and mud these has actually made him lame. They seem to be impossible to clean and mud and debris has built up underneath.
They will have to come off asap. But am looking for other options. The cable pads I found on line have a hole either side of the frog so would hopefully allow any mud to be washed away.
Any advise or experience of this would be greatly appreciated.
