Cafe at the Hand EC

Has anyone had GOOD service there? Today, for about the fourth time I found the service appauling, they where rude, slow and made me feel GUILTY for ordering food!!!

Thinking of writing a complaint

Its a shame as the rest of the place is AMAZING now, the cafe seems to really let them down!

Agree about the service though. They are terribly unhelpful.

I've only been there twice since it was refurbished, the last time being their x-factor gala. It took centuries to be served, there was a lot of people there, but I agree their cafe lets them down.

I'd be inclined to complain to Nick Davies the owner. As he's spent close on £3M I don't think he'd be pleased if he knew his staff were giving the same value in service!

Ooh wonder if they are the same staff that work in the cafe at Addington!! It can be like that sometimes.

Good plan! The food was ok once it got to us, but took ages and portions where poor.. at one ponit while I was ordering there was even a domestic going on in the kitchen!

It was worse today!!

I dont think there is much excuse as the vans they have at summerhouse..hartpury etc are all great, with friendly staff who serve you really quickly! And the food is LUSH

The displays where pretty good.. shopping was ok.. not as much there as I imagined there would be! Worth a look though.

Are you doing something there?

Today at West Wilts I had THREE bacon butties... they were so lush and scrumptious. Just thought I would throw that in, since it caused me much excitment
