Has anyone used this recently? I have many years ago and probably nowhere near enough of it but am told it helps reduce the acidity of the soil making the pasture less buttercup friendly? I've also heard it's hard to get hold of and there is a chemical substitute now but can you still leave the horses on when it's applied as with CSW?

I can't spray with weedkiller because even if I do it in two halves, after the two week required break I will have foot high grass!

I used to use it too but I believe the seabeds where it came from are now closed to dredging for reasons of conservation. Im not sure you can actually get it anywhere anymore.
