I am asking for a friend > Her horse about 9 weeks ago fractured his leg (very bad) but is on the mend. She i looking for some rich in calcium feed or supplement. He is been fed limestone by NAF. But whats to no if there is anything else out there ? ? Thanks guys

She's treading on dodgy ground as merely pumping calcium into the horse isnt going to heal the bone quicker- the amount of calcium required for a fracture is really pretty low.

Calcium/phosphorous imbalances are nasty things and not something I'd mess around with in a hurry.

i remember when my last horse fractured his leg calcium had to bbe fed with vit d as it cant b absorbed on its own very well
