I am thinking of switching to feeding straights soon. Firstly for reasons of cost, secondly because I now have 5 equines to feed and I think it will give me more flexibility.

I am going to spend some time doing some proper research and calculations first. Is anyone able to recommend a good website which helps you with this process? ie. which tells you how much horses need to eat, what proportion of fibre, carb, fat, protein, mins and vits and gives you an idea of what each food type provides? I've culled a fair bit of info from Wiki and other websites, but not found a good one which gives me all the info I need.

How much do equine nutritionists charge to do this for you?

Any personal experiences of switching to straights from nuts/mixes would be interesting!

Thanks
