Calculating whether filly will make full-up 16.0 or not?!!!

Hi!

I am new to the forum and wondered if anyone could help. I have a filly (foaled 8th May 2007) who's growing like a weed but I'm hoping she'll make the 16.0hh mark and wanted to get others opinion of whether or not they think she'll get there.

Foal's Dam: 15.1hh TB mare (by 16.3hh TB out of 15.2hh TB mare)
*Dam has a 9yr old full brother who stands only 15.0hh

Foal's Sire: 16.2hh Polish Warmblood (sires good sized stock)

At 6 months filly stood 12.2hh (wore 4ft 3in rug).
At almost 8 months old she now stands 14.0hh at rump (she's rump high but withers catching up fast.) (wears 5ft 0in rug)

Hard to guestimate I know, but if pushed what would you reckon; Is she likely to make a full up 16.0hh or more likely not to?

I've not bred my TB's to a WB before so not sure how to estimate growth.

I put my 15 hand CB x TB mare to Pro-set who I believe stands at 16.2. Widget is now rising 3 and is standing at 16.1 with a lot more growing to do. One method that is fairly accurate at guestimating height is on a 12 month old baby or older, measure them between the elbow & the ergot then double the height. It will give you a rough guide anyway!
