Calke Abbey?

I know that its a long short but does anyone on here have a pass to ride through Calke Abbey? Is it worth the money? Do they let you canter?

we go there quite often for dog walks in the summer and have often said that it would be a lovely place to ride but have never seen anyone riding there and didnt even realise you could?!

One of my friends rung the estate office and they issue a limited number of permits but its reasonably expensive and I heard a vicious rumour that you aren't allowed to canter incase it spoils the grass but to me that seems like they are spoiling my fun

If you do see a blur of black and white go past in the distance next time you are walking your dog you'll know I got permission!
