What bits do you ride in??

I've just bought a horse which is cbx tb and he's in a waterford snaffle and goes really well. But when i intend to take him hunting i'm looking for something slightly stronger as apparently he was strong in the snaffle. Please could you recommend any?

My friend has a cb x and he is ridden xc/hunting in a ducth gag

Eggbutt snaffle for everything, Only change it when I show him which is a double.
Not sure what you could change to for hunting depends on the horse.

Not much help, Donkey goes hunting in her snaffle - its the forward gears i struggle with not brakes
